Olivier André was appointed Vice President of Business Development, Transportation for Alcatel-Lucent in 2010. He is responsible for delivering the company’s strategy to the transportation industry through the innovative design of solution driven services.

Previously, as Rail Market Director at Alcatel-Lucent, Olivier was responsible for leading and developing Alcatel-Lucent’s solutions for the company’s rail customers worldwide.

Prior to joining Alcatel-Lucent, Olivier was head of UK Transportation Systems at Thales where he was responsible for mission critical systems for the transport market. Before this, Olivier worked as an international consultant for Interfleet Technology.

Olivier spent the early part of his career at Alstrom Transport where he was responsible for a number of worldwide projects that included the Korean High Speed Train and the Eurostar.

Olivier holds an MSc in Electro-Mechanical Engineering from the Université de Liege, Belguim and is married with two children.
